Asylum (feature screenplay), an award-winning modern Gothic thriller based on the novel.
Greed, corruption, and betrayal collide in a dark, atmospheric, psychological mystery.
Adapted by author Kathryn Orzech from her acclaimed novel, ASYLUM translates a multi-layered suspense saga into a gripping, dual-timeline cinematic experience.

Grounded in the visual arts, the narrative seamlessly intercuts between the raw emotional constraints of 1899–1900 and the psychological unraveling of 1974. The project weaves a slow-burn sense of dread, deep family secrets, and relentless tension into a haunting premise set against the bucolic backdrop of central Connecticut.
