Kobe Bryant Premonition of No. 24

Kobe Bryant Premonition of No. 24.

Between 7a.m. until the helicopter crash after 10a.m., I kept seeing the number 24.

First, I went to get gas and I usually put in $20, but I wasn’t paying attention and when I finally stopped the pump it read $24.24.

Next, I picked up a few groceries at the store and the bill was $24.10. It seemed a bit odd, but I didn’t think anything about it.

I also made a dental appointment that was booked for February 24th.

Plus, I kept seeing variations of the numbers 2 and 4 on my desk.

It stopped abruptly after 10a.m. and I didn’t give it second thought until after Kobe Bryant’s death was announced. I’m not sure if it was an odd coincidence or something more??? While I’ve gone to Lakers games in Los Angeles, I’ve never met Kobe.

Kobe Bryant, retired professional basketball player, died in a helicopter crash along with eight others on Sunday, January 26th, 2020 at 9:45 a.m. PT. Kobe Bryant’s Los Angeles Lakers team number was 24.

When I see this kind of repetition whether subtle or obvious, it seems the other side is determined to get our attention. I call it the “sledgehammer effect.”

Odessa Premonition Misplaced

Odessa Premonition — Misinterpreted. Misplaced.

ODESSA burst into my conscious mind from out of the blue. It grabbed my attention so suddenly, I stopped what I was doing to ponder why. I recognized it as an Odessa premonition and immediately thought of Odessa, Ukraine, a lovely city on the Black Sea where I had visited years ago. I wondered if something was about to happen there?

Odessa premonition lingers.

Thoughts of Odessa persisted several times a day for two days though I couldn’t figure out why. I mentally revisited the sights I’d seen in Ukraine strolling along the Black Sea coastline, the souvenirs I bought, the show at the concert hall, the millions of jellyfish. A lovely visit but what of it?

Breaking News in the other Odessa.

I watched the news. Breaking News. Another mass shooting. Again in Texas — Odessa, Texas! I wonder if I had focused on the premonition if details would have become clear and accurate. My common fault. It tried to get my attention, but life got in the way.

My geography is often inaccurate when it comes to premonitions. It’s funny, because in real life, it’s pretty good.

Premonition warnings. The day before 9/11…

Premonition warnings

Premonition warnings: I’ve had a few premonitions in my lifetime.

The earliest one I remember was when I was around 19, and I was commuting an hour to work for a “dream” job. I woke up at 3am crying my eyes out, saying over and over, “I don’t want to die, I don’t want to die.” My then boyfriend just put it down to a nightmare. That day when I drove to work, my tyre suddenly burst, on the freeway. My car lost control and I went into the next lane. Luckily at that moment nobody was in that lane although a huge lorry was in the other lane (two lanes from me). Shaking, I pulled over. A man in a truck came and rescued me.

I knew something was wrong

Then in my twenties when I was in London and I was walking along with my then boyfriend, and suddenly I was overcome by this sense of absolute dread. I didn’t understand it but I knew something was wrong. Next day I got a phone call from my mom telling me my cat had been hit by a car.

An awful nightmare

With my second cat, a decade later, I woke up from an awful nightmare, having dreamt that my cat was slowing being eaten, and oddly, it was by a pool (I didn’t have a pool). Next morning, my cat was missing. No sign of him later in the evening. Put up posters around the neighbourhood. Got a phone call about a week later from a lady who said, “I don’t think you want to hear this, but I found a load of cat hair on my grass. It was probably the coyotes.” My cat never came back. I knew he’d been eaten.

Premonition warnings: I know this sounds like a lie, but it’s not.

The day before 9/11

I was browsing through a store, when suddenly I had this massive sense of impending doom. I had no clue what it was, but I recognised the horrible feeling from the times before when I’ve felt this way—before something bad happened. I went home, upset.

Next morning, 9/11 on the news.

A premonition warning of personal danger … Chatting with a man online

A much more recent premonition was just a few months ago. I had been chatting with a man online and then by text message. We were arranging to meet up. He seemed really nice, if not a bit too keen. I was genuinely looking forward to meeting him. Only the night before I was due to meet him, I dreamt that he abducted me and hurt me. I have never, ever, had any similar dream before I’ve met someone, so this freaked me out and I heeded the warning. I not only didn’t meet him—I never spoke to him again.

Premonition of derailed train

I had a premonition about a serious accident to the point that I would not let my 19 year old son leave that evening (he had planned on taking the train back to college that evening) and while watching TV, they broke in to say that the train he would have been on derailed due to ice on the tracks. Several other young adults lost their lives that evening on the train.
